London Life, Lagos Living stage play is showing in Lagos this August. The production explores identity, ambition, belonging, and the complexities of living in one of the world’s most chaotic cities.

Adapted from Bobo Omotayo’s book of the same title, the stage play examines the contradictions of modern Nigerian life through characters shaped by the experiences of two very different cities: London and Lagos.

The production invites audiences to reflect on questions of identity and belonging, including what we carry home, what we leave behind, and how the places we live in shape who we become. With wit and relatable storytelling, the play explores the realities, tensions, and humour of navigating life between two worlds.

London Life, Lagos Living is produced by Ego Boyo, Brenda Fashugba, and Bobo Omotayo, with Kenneth Uphopho, known for Esther’s Revenge, serving as director. Temple Productions, Paw Studio Productions, and Women in the Arts support the production.

The cast features Linda Ejiofor Suleiman, Gideon Okeke, Chioma Omeruah, Kate Henshaw, Olarotimi Fakunle, and others.
