LITF Opens Submissions for 2026 (Deadline: May 15)

The Lagos International Theatre Festival (LITF) has officially opened submissions for its 2026 edition, inviting playwrights and theatre makers from around the world to showcase their work on a global stage.
Organisers are calling for both local and international entries, offering creatives an opportunity to have their stories seen, heard, and experienced by diverse audiences. With a reputation for celebrating bold, original, and thought-provoking productions, the festival continues to position Lagos as a vibrant hub for the performing arts.
The call is open to creators with stories that move, challenge, or inspire. Selected productions will be featured during the festival scheduled for November 2026.
To complete a submission, applicants are required to provide key production details, including the name of the play, production company, city of origin, and director’s name. Additional information, such as runtime, synopsis, cast and crew size, and links to video footage or high-quality images, must also be included. Technical requirements and other relevant production details are expected as part of the application.
