Beeta Playwright Competition Workshop

The 7th Beeta Playwright Competition is now live, but with a catch. You have to attend a workshop before submitting. Details were shared in an Instagram post:

This year’s theme:
“Connected Realities: A Closer World in a Digital Age”
We are living in a time where lives are intertwined across borders, screens, and cultures. As our world becomes more interlinked and fast-moving, what stories will define this moment? How do we hold onto identity, truth, and tradition in a world where distance disappears but disconnection still exists?

This is more than a competition, it is a movement to elevate new Nigerian voices, shape the future of African theatre, and spotlight stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
