Zik of Africa stage play is showing in London this August. It takes the audience through the remarkable life and legacy of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Nigeria’s first President and one of the country’s foremost nationalists.

Produced by DOSF UK Limited (Duke of Shomolu Foundation) in partnership with Elesin Productions and Lebara Nigeria, the play offers a deeply romantic and emotional portrayal of Azikiwe’s journey, capturing the passion, sacrifice, and resilience that shaped Nigeria’s struggle for independence.

Featuring Tayo Elesin as Executive Producer, Zik of Africa blends powerful storytelling with music, vibrant costumes, and compelling performances to recreate the defining moments that led to the birth of a nation.
