A bold drama of survival, desire, and tradition.

Waistbeads tells the story of three widows navigating grief, strict mourning rituals, and forbidden attraction after the death of their husband, Chief Okonkwo. Themes of survival, sexuality, and the clash between tradition and modern beliefs drive the tension on stage.

The play is written and directed by Kelvinmary Ndukwe and produced by 1000storiesng.
