Joromi the Musical is back in Abuja in April

Art of Play Initiative is bringing Joromi the Musical back on stage in Abuja.

Joromi: The Musical directed by Israel Meriomame Wekpe and Osarumen John Igbinidu dramatically celebrates equity, diversity and inclusivity while saliently reinforcing notions of collective patriotism and communal heroism. This is a folkloric story musically conveyed in contemporary hues, shades and colours. Charles Nwaokolo provides an original score for the production. He is assisted by Theresa Agholor.

The performance in Abuja is from Thursday 18 to Saturday 20, April, 2024 and it is under the auspices of Hannah Neda-Imasuen. "JOROMI: The Musical" has had successful runs since December 2022 when it premiered. It was command performance at the ENINA Theatre festival in Benin City last August.
