Free Stage Play at ITANSAN ARTFEST 2026 in Ibadan This May

ITANSAN ARTFEST 2026 is set to celebrate Yoruba culture through theatre, storytelling, and live performances this May in Ibadan.

Tagged Beacon of the Ancestors, the maiden edition of the festival will hold at Adeline Hall, Lead City University, bringing together creatives, students, and culture enthusiasts for a multi-disciplinary cultural experience.

One of the major highlights of the festival will be its stage performances and cultural showcase, featuring performances inspired by indigenous traditions and Yoruba heritage. The event will also include an inter-school cultural and art competition, a fashion showcase, and the launch of Emissaries of the Gods (Iko Orisa).

Designed to connect the past with the present, ITANSAN ARTFEST aims to create a vibrant space where theatre, art, and culture come alive for modern audiences.
