Dora Stage Play in Lagos This April

Dora, a powerful stage play that revisits the life and legacy of Prof. Dora Akunyili, will be showing in Lagos this April.

The production tells the pulsating, emotional story of the former NAFDAC DG, who boldly confronted fake drug merchants in Nigeria. Through compelling storytelling and soul-stirring music, Dora brings history to life—celebrating courage, resilience, and the strength of a woman who stood firm and said no. The play is enriched with beautiful songs that evoke deep emotion and leave audiences with goosebumps.

Directed by Toyin Ogundeji, a renowned actor, director, and theatre administrator, the production promises a rich theatrical experience. According to producer Joseph Edgar, the performances have already stirred strong emotions, with the crew moved to tears during rehearsals.
