Behind Closed Doors Stage Play Showing in Lagos This September

Behind Closed Doors is an intimate and thought-provoking stage play about marriage, love, and the conversations couples often avoid.

After years of building a life together, Tunde and Mimi return home from what should have been one of the happiest nights of their marriage. But when a phone rings, the evening takes an unexpected turn, setting off a long and unpredictable night of confessions, arguments, and unresolved emotions.

Funny, sharp, and painfully familiar, it explores the laughter, resentment, and tenderness of married life—and asks whether love can find its way back when life changes the people in a relationship.

The play stars Ralph Okoro and Vanessa Jev. It is directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters and co-written by Austen-Peters and Kanyinsola Kongi.
