Aminatu: Queen of Zazzau Stage Play in Ilorin This June

Aminatu: Queen of Zazzau is a stage play showing at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) this June and is inspired by the legendary 16th-century Hausa warrior queen, Queen Amina.

Produced as the PFA 499 final year production by the Performing Arts department, the production promises a powerful blend of storytelling, dance, music, and dramatic performance to bring to life the story of strength, courage, and honour associated with one of Northern Nigeria’s most iconic historical figures.
