About the Play:

‘When the drums of war and disaster reach a land, it is usually not the strong or even the warring that are casualties, but the poor and the vulnerable. Those who should enjoy our protection become the worst hit, nursing wounds, sometimes forever.

The Torn Petal is a dramatic narration of a victim of insurgency in Nigeria's North East.
