ÌTÀN: The Story Stage Play Returns to the Lagos This December

Produced by THESPIAN Family Theatre & Productions, renowned for its vibrant blend of Nigerian culture, drama, music, and dance, this milestone production marks the play’s 10th anniversary with a spectacular revival. Written by Ayo Jaiyesimi, the 90-minute show features a stellar 60-member cast, including Nissi George, Toyin Osinnaike, and the iconic Hafiz Oyetoro (Saka), delivering a performance filled with depth, heart, and cultural brilliance.

ÌTÀN explores generational conflict through the tense relationship between a traditional village elder and his modern, city-loving grandson. Guided by Àsìkò, the personification of time, the story takes audiences on a journey into how the past shapes the present and guides the future — all wrapped in gripping storytelling.
